Areas of Expertise

Merete Bårdsen’s primary area of practice is employment law. Her practice covers all aspects of individual and collective employment law, including pensions. She has extensive experience of negotiating and resolving employment disputes in the ordinary courts, the national Labour Court, the EFTA Court and the specialist dispute resolution organs. She has broad experience of advising on restructuring and downsizing processes, business transfers and cross-border employment relationships. She also lectures regularly on various aspects of employment law. She also works with real estate law, including expropriation.
